Homemade Apple Crumble Recipe
A warm and comforting dessert with tender apples and a crisp buttery topping. Perfect with custard, cream, or ice cream. This recipe features the light texture of Bodrum Wheat Flour and the aromatic warmth of Bodrum Cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 6 medium apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Bodrum Cinnamon Ground
- 150 g Bodrum Wheat Flour
- 100 g unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
- 80 g brown sugar
- Pinch of Bodrum Fine Himalayan Salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a medium baking dish.
- Place sliced apples in the dish. Sprinkle with sugar and Bodrum Cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, mix Bodrum Wheat Flour, cubed butter, brown sugar, and salt. Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour until it looks like coarse breadcrumbs.
- Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
- Serve warm with your choice of custard, double cream, or vanilla ice cream.
